Hi Bruce,
ReplyDeleteI went to the Club Penguin one...it's by Disney. I didn't log in as a kid, but I went to the Parents of Penguins tab and it was really neat. It informed the parent of what their child would doing in the site. Nice touch the parent tab. But, it's Disney.
Mickey
Note: I only wish that the girl on the front page was a little more conservatively dressed especially if little kids are going to access this site.
good point mickey. i often notice that kids shows and site have certain inaproperiate things to it. thanks for the feedback
ReplyDeleteBruce I think that online gaming can be used as a beneficial resource to encourage learning. There are numerous games and websites available that are appealing to children but that also serve as an educational tool. I was just playing on starfall.com with my neice earlier but pbskids.com and many other sites are available for kids her age as well. (3yrs +)
