i played the online version of games where u have to use certain keys on the key board. i think these games are very hard compared to the ones like internet spades where you can use the mouse. has anyone planed online games using the computer? what has been others experiences?
Bruce,
ReplyDeleteYou might laugh but I have limited to no experience playing games online. I have never been interested in video games or online games. However, most people are the opposite of me and have at some point found themselves playing and participating in this experience. The reason I added limited experience is because we have a Wii at my parent's house and my two older brother's and their families also have these Wii nintendo games at their own homes. My father and brothers use the internet (I think) haha to play against one another even though my one brother is in Kansas. You can also use it to play other people around the world. This is cool to see and if I were more interested I think I would enjoy the availability of different and more competitive opponents.
Hi Bruce,
ReplyDeleteI have no experiences about playing online game but I saw my students while they were playing it.
Most of my students play online game by using their mobile phone.I found that they can play game even there are no the mouse or key board but they just touch their mobile phone.

Hi Bruce! I never did online gaming. I have a vague idea of what it is; can you explain in your next post to everyone what "online gaming" means and how it can be different from other video games?
ReplyDeleteHi Bruce,
ReplyDeleteI have tried to begin to used internet games. I downloaded Zombie Farm onto my iPhone, just to see how it worked. I don't care for it, but now I don't know how to get rid of it.
However, I have a friend who downloaded a free ap on her iPhone called "Words Free" (I think it's kind of like virtual Scrabble) and she has made friends with people from all over the world playing that game. I believe she may be planning a trip to Florida to meet someone retired who she's become familiar with.
I think that it could be fun to play virtually, but I just don't have the time at the present.
I think there must be a cool application for it in a more useful learning sense..say in the workplace...but I just haven't stumbled on it yet. If you find something, please let me know.
Best,
Mickey
